MEIGHAN, ELSIE MARIE - The death of Elsie Marie Meighan, of Burnaby, BC and formerly of Saint John occurred on Sunday August 9th, 2009 in Burnaby. Born February 17th, 1928 in Springfield, NB, she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Lillian (Boyd) Edgar. Surviving are daughter, Karen (Ken) Toronto, a son, Stephen (Takiko) of BC; grandchildren Mona and Kaisei; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband Harrison Meighan, and a brother Donald Edgar. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John, (646-2424), with visitation on Sunday, August 16th, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 17th, 2009 at 11 am.
