GREEN, LOIS JOSEPHINE (PENDLETON) - The death of Lois Josephine (Pendleton) Green of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Ernest Ronald Green, occurred on Friday, August 14, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Deer Island, NB on May 26, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Durrell and Etta (Dalzell) Pendleton. Lois worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for 9 years with the DVA Hospital and 17 years with the Regional Hospital. She was a member of St. Joachim's Church. Lois was an organist with the Royal Canadian College. Survived by two sons, Richard Green of Ottawa, ON and Geoffrey (Sheila) of Red Deer, AB; one daughter, Deborah (Gary) McGuire; one granddaughter, Rebecca Green; three grandsons, Derek Green, Ryan and Doran McGuire. Predeceased by her sister Gladys Farrell. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 11:30 am. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
