MCKIEL, CHARLES W. - The death of Mr. Charles William McKiel, husband of Yvette (DesRoches) McKiel of Saint John West, occurred on August 15, 2009 at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Mr. McKiel was born in Saint John on July 17, 1939, the son of the late Allison H. and Ada E. (Collins) McKiel. He was a truck driver and then was a custodian for the School Board at Saint John High School before retirement. He was a very kind hearted man, willing to help anyone. He is survived by his wife Yvette and several in-laws. By Charles' request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will take place Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 1 pm from Fallsview Chapel. Donations in memory of Charles to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
