CURTIS ELDON GREGOIRE
GREGOIRE, CURTIS ELDON - C. Eldon Gregoire of Nackawic, NB suddenly and tragically passed away on August 28th, 2009. Originally from Broadlands, Quebec, he was a son of Frances (Tozer) Gregoire and the late Burns Gregoire. In addition to being an outstanding husband, father and grandfather, Eldon was a well respected first class power engineer and in the latter part of his professional career took great pride and satisfaction in helping teach and mentor others in the field. Eldon will be missed by many whose lives he touched. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Pyne) Gregoire; his three children, Shawn Gregoire (Karsty), Waterloo, Ontario, Dr. Curtis Gregoire (Trixie), Halifax, NS and Colleen MacNaughton (Peter), Halifax, NS; six grandchildren, Quinlan, Kylar, Sadie, Hannah, Kayley and Jordan; his mother of Tidehead, NB; a sister, Sandra Thompson (Donald), Flatlands, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Eldon was predeceased by a daughter, Shelley Dawn in 1973 and a sister, Sharon Steiner. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Kirk United Church of Canada, Landegger Drive, Nackawic on Monday, August 31st, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Jennifer Brown officiating. Interment will be later in St. Michael's Cemetery, Miramichi. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home Sunday evening at 6:45 pm. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Eldon, the family has suggested the building fund of the Kirk United Church of Canada.
