GARDNER, JAMES KENNETH - The death of James Kenneth Gardner occurred on Sunday, August 30th, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born August 4th, 1955 in Sydney Mines, NS, he was the son of Donald Gardner and Isabel (Eric) Roy. Jim was employed as an Automotive Technician with Aberdeen Motors for the past 19 years. Jim was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Those who knew him will miss him greatly. Besides his parent's Jim is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Janet (MacNeill); cherished daughters, Stephanie Ann and Mary Elizabeth both at home; brothers Donald, Hampton, Ronald (Joanne), Moncton, Brian (Christine), Saint John; sisters Carol (John) Ferguson, Saint John, Elaine (Larry) Fanjoy, Hammond River, Sheri Burhoe (Christian Larson), Pennfield; several nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by infant son Joseph Kenneth. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424), with visiting hours Tuesday, September 1st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the N.B.
