HAWKES, JAMES WILLIAM - J. William Hawkes of St. Croix, NB passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 4th, 2009. He was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1932, a son of the late Frederick and Annie Hawkes. William is survived by his wife, Mary Alice (Usypchuk) Hawkes; a brother, Kenneth Hawkes, Durham, Quebec and several nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visiting hours, friends are welcome to attend the funeral service at McAdam Independent Baptist Church, 13 Oak Street, McAdam, NB on Thursday, September 10th, 2009 at 3 pm with Pastor Tim Whidden officiating. Interment will be later in Montreal. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of William, the family has suggested a charity of the donor's choice.
