DUFFY, MARGARET FRANCES - The death of Margaret Frances Duffy, formerly of 50 Charlton Place occurred on Monday, September 7th, 2009 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on March 6th, 1915, she was a daughter of the late William and Alice (Walsh) Duffy. Survived by several nieces and nephews including Sandra Shea and Doreen Shonaman. Besides her mother and father, Margaret was predeceased by her brothers Bill and Fred Duffy; her sisters, Agnes T. Duffy, Eileen E. Dobbin, Mae Naves, Jeanette Arsenault, Dorothy Connell and Bernice Miller; niece, Catherine Fairweather; and infant brother, James E. Duffy. Margaret is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 at 11 am. Interment to take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
