SMITH, PETER PATERSON - Peter Smith beloved companion for 15 years of Linda (McCluskey) Cooke, passed away on Monday, September 7th, 2009 at his residence in South Musquash, NB. Peter was born January 6th, 1939 in Saint John NB to the late Edward and Davidina (Paterson) Smith. Besides his companion, Linda; Peter is survived by his daughters, Katherine Blythe (Stuart and granddaughter Sophie) in London, England, Melanie Smith (Al) of Yellowknife, NWT; brother, Richard Smith (Faye) of Saint John; one niece, nephew and many friends. Peter was an avid sailor, artist and a marine underwriter. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home on Saturday, September 12th from 2 to 5 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date.
