JOHN (JACK) MILNE CRABB

CRABB, JOHN (JACK) MILNE - Passed away on September 16, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 21, 1920 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was the son of the late William and Helen (Milne) Crabb. Jack was a naval veteran of World War II. As professions, he operated several service stations in the North End of Saint John. Before retiring he worked with C A Munroe as a salesman, traveling mainly in Nova Scotia. He is survived by his wife Velma Crabb; son, William (Bill) (Sharon Robinson) Crabb, of Fredericton; daughter, Charlotte (Paul) Roberts, of Martinon; two step-daughters, Glenda (Wilson) Morash, of Lunenburg and Cynthia (David) Wentzell, of Lunenburg; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Marjorie (Babbitt). Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 11:00 am from The Church of the Resurrection, Grand Bay-Westfield, followed by a reception at the church hall. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations, in memory of Jack, may be made to Church of the Resurrection Building Fund or CNIB.
