RICHARDSON, LAWRENCE PINEO - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on September 20, 2009, Mr. Lawrence Pineo Richardson, husband of Mrs. Roberta E. Richardson of Richardson, Deer Island, NB. Born at Richardson on March 11, 1918, he was a son of the late Audley and F. Ruby (Stuart) Richardson. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife, Roberta, he is survived by three sons, Brent Richardson of Fredericton, NB, Roger Richardson of Stuart Town, NB and Richard Richardson of Richardson; two grandchildren, Lucas Richardson of Stuart Town and Tonelle Richardson of Clementsport, NS; one brother, George (Charlotte) Richardson of Lambert's Cove, NB; two nephews, Lawrence (Kaye) Gardiner of St. Stephen, NB and Paul Richardson of Fredericton. He was predeceased by one sister, Geraldine Gardiner. Prior to his retirement, Lawrence was a self employed fisherman and was a veteran of the Second World War. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1939 until 1945 where he saw action in England, Holland, France and Germany. Resting at the Lambert's Cove Baptist Church, Lambert's Cove NB, from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visiting at the church on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm. In Lawrence's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
