DOLE, ERIC R. - Eric Robb Dole of Saint John passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on August 29, 1948, he was a son of the late Robert T. and Pauline A. (Rafuse) Dole. Eric was a graduate of Saint John Vocational High School and Ryerson Polytechnic Institute. He as employed for many years as a Public Health Inspector, and was a former member of the Lions Club. He was Anglican by faith. Eric is survived by his daughter, Margaret of Saint John; a brother, Randol Dole (Gloria) of Saint John; and two nephews, Kenneth and Robert (Robbie). In addition to his parents, Eric was predeceased by a brother, Peter. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:30 pm from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
