HARGROVE, ARNOLD RUSSELL - 1937-2009 - The death of Arnold Russell Hargrove of Beechwood occurred on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born in Fort Fairfield Maine on March 8, 1937 he was the son of the late Russell and Ethel (Davidson) Hargrove. Arnold was a life-long teacher, entrepreneur and inventor. His jokes and stories will be remembered by many. Arnold is survived by his loving wife Judy; six children, Sheila MacDonald (James), Eva Calder (Joe), Vanessa Kelley (Kevin), Clifton Hargrove (Nancy), Sarah Taylor (Dan) and Nora Hargrove; three step children, Erika Kinney, Clinton Kinney (Karrie) and Taylor Blake-Kinney; 12 grandchildren, Shilo DeMerchant (Paul), Colby and Dustin MacDonald, Neil and Sarah Calder, Eric and Craig Lovely, Samuel and Lauren Kelley, Harrison and Bailey Hargrove and Dylan Kinney; one great grand daughter, Amelia DeMerchant; three sisters, Mary Lou Hallet, Isabel Morton and Hazel Campbell; one brother, Andy Hargrove (Susan) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Faith Memorial United Church in Florenceville on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Maynard Rector will be officiating.
