HEBERT, CLAUDIUS J. C. "GRAMP" - Claudy Hebert of Springfield, Kings County passed away at the Oromocto Hospital on September 22, 2009. He was born on October 11, 1927 to the late Avila and Rebecca (Thereau) Hebert. Claudy worked for Brookville Lime for over 40 years before his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing and working in his blueberry fields. Claudy is survived by his son, Donald (Angeline); one brother, Earle Hebert; three sisters, Bertha Duda, Marie-Louise Gainet and Christine Stowe; three grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Hebert, Adam Hebert and Lisa Dempster; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 2:30 pm. Private family interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
