ROSVALL, STEVEN DOUGLAS - The family of the late Steven Douglas Rosvall regrets to announce the passing of Steven on September 22, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 15, 1966 in Saint John, he was the son of Norma Rosvall and the late David Rosvall. Surviving are sister, Nancy (Tim) Wilson; brother, Bruce Rosvall and many extended family members. Steven was employed with Atlantic Super Store. Steven attended Forest Hills Baptist Church, and participated at the Soul Food Café at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Steven attended Atlantic Baptist University, Laval and graduated from Acadia University. He was a history buff and it would be difficult to stump him on any historical question. Steven was also interested in genealogy and tracing the family tree. He had an interest in languages and studied German, French and Spanish. He enjoyed his "coffee club" friends who got together on Friday nights to talk about their week. His happiest moments were having family gatherings and being with family especially his four nephews whom he loved very much - Micah, Bradley, Bryan and Brandon. Steve had great compassion and sensitivity toward others. Even in his last days his concern was for his family and friends. Steve had a genuine love for all people. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday September 24, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Forest Hills Baptist Church on Friday September 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
