BRIGGS, ANNIE MARGARET- The death of Annie Margaret Briggs, age 87, of Norton, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on Friday, October 2, 2009. Annie is survived by daughters Shirley and Doug Gibson of Sussex, Margaret and Dwight Taber of Apohaqui, and Ann Baskin and Ralph Bartlett of Manitoba Road; sons Lawrence and Janet Briggs of Bauld Hill, and Victor and Ruby Briggs of Fredericton; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters Ena Sills of BC, and Florence Thomas of Sussex. She was predeceased by sister Sara Thomas; brother John Brown. She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. A celebration of Annie's life will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
