RAFUSE, PETER A. - 44, of Parrsboro, Cumberland Co. passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan following a lengthy illness. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of Owen and Bev (Davis) Rafuse, Parrsboro. Peter enjoyed playing cards and fishing. He will be truly missed for his quick wit and infectious smile. Besides his parents, he is survived by sisters, Carol Carr (Greg), Sussex; Pamela Read, Barrie, Ont.; a brother, Michael (Donna), Prospect; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a niece and a nephew. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today (Saturday) and 3-4 p.m. Sunday at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the National Foundation for Hepatitis-C or to a charity of choice.
