IZZARD, FRANCES ISABELLE - 81, Halifax. Suddenly on Wed. Sept 30, we lost our precious wife, mother, sister, friend, grammy and great-grandmother. Daughter of the late Fred and Susannah Withers. Fran married her childhood sweetheart Jack 62 years ago and had nine children. She was an artist, writer, entrepreneur, but was happiest at her cottage on the Bellisle, surrounded by her family and friends. She was so loved! At Fran's request, we ask that everyone remember her as tall and willowy. Survived by husband, Jack; children, Brenda (Ron), David (Eilleen), Penny (Ronald), Crystal (Steve), Stephanie (Lorne), Jennifer (Mike), John (Carolynne), Mark(Tracey), of Ottawa and Halifax; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by infant son, Jon; brothers, Murray, Teddy, Phil. Visitation to be held Monday at 11 am with funeral service at 1 pm at T.K.
