ZELWARD, RONALD JOSEPH - The death of Ronald Joseph Zelward, loving husband of Lorna (Kyle) Zelward occurred on Tuesday October 6, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1927 in Saint John he was the son of the late Alfred and Mcreana (Greenlaw) Zelward. Ronald worked for the Sugar Refinery for many years; he was the creator of Tiny Town. Besides his loving wife Lorna of 63 years, he is survived by his sons, David (Lori) of Kingston Peninsula and Tony of Saint John; three grandchildren, Rhonda, Victoria and Stephen; brothers, Jim of Montreal and Arthur (Eva) of Saint John; sisters, Mary Kelter of Saint John and Leona Donaher of Main River, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Johnny Zelward. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday October 7, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday October 8, 2009 at 2:00 pm.
