SPRAGG, PHYLLIS MURIEL - Phyllis Muriel Spragg passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex. Born May 12, 1914 in Fredericton to the late James Robert and Matilda Anne (Laskey) Neilson. She was predeceased by her husband John H. Spragg; her brother, Clyde A. Neilson; and her sisters, Margaret Maxwell and Joyce Hunter. She is survived by her daughter, M. Janet Nice (Hiram) and her son, James M. Spragg (Colleen); three grandchildren, John J. Nice (Sheila), Amanda Spragg and Allyson Spragg; two great grandsons, John Karl Nice and Nathan Nice; many nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visitations. A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the M.S. Society or Saint John School Milk Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
