HEBERT, PAUL DOUGLAS - The death of Paul Douglas Hebert, loving husband of Sheila (Barter) Hebert, occurred unexpectedly on Monday October 12, 2009. Born 1954 in Saint John he was the son of Earl Hebert and the late Anna (McCarthy) Hebert. Paul worked in many different fields, most recently he worked for Canadian Tire Store East; a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6581, Cursillo Movement, a coordinator for RCIA Catholic Diocese. Besides his father and loving wife Sheila of 29 years, he is survived by his sons, Donnie Hebert of ON and Jeff Hebert (Leann) of Saint John; grandchildren, Mitchell, Riley and Haley; brother, Joe Hebert (Gloria) of Ottawa, John Hebert of Ottawa and Frank Hebert of Saint John; sisters, Erline Walsh (Tom) of Rothesay, Nancy Patterson (Larry) of Rothesay, Margaret Winchester (Carl) of Saint John, Bonnie Barker (Paul) of Saint John and Roseanne Spencer (Gary) of Saint John; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides his mother he was predeceased by brother, Chris. Visitations will be held at his home, 12 Starkey Avenue, Rothesay on Thursday October 15, 2009 from 10 am to 9 pm. Knights of Columbus will have prayers on Thursday evening at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday October 16, 2009 at 12:05 pm. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
