FRY, VIRGINIA S. - Peacefully on Sunday October 11, 2009 at the Rainy Crest Long Term Care, Fort Frances, Ontario,Virginia Fry (nee Pratt) passed away at the age of 83. Virginia was born in Jacksonville, New Brunswick on May 17, 1926 to the late Guy and Lottie Pratt. She was united in marriage to David R. Fry on September 7, 1954. After David's passing in 2007, Virginia moved to the Rainy River District to reside with her daughter and son in law Joan and Steve Both. She is survived by her daughter Joan (Steve) Both, of Chapple Twp, ON, and son Blair Fry (Janice Dimock) of New River Beach, New Brunswick, grandchildren Lynette (Craig) Sargeant, Wayne, Gary and Lauralee Both, Andrew Hawk, Justin Fry, Lauren Cummings, great grandchildren Luke, Lane, Carrie, Cody and sister in laws Anna Pratt and Muriel Pratt, dear friend Pearl Williston, numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her husband David R. , brothers Cyril and Guy Pratt and special aunt Rowena MacDonald. Funeral services were held at the Northridge Funeral Home, Emo, ON, on Thursday October 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. Richard Knight and Louise Carlson officiating. A grave side service will take place in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery, Woodstock, New Brunswick on Saturday October 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Scott Funeral Home (506) 328- 3179
