BELL, HAZEN - Mr. Hazen Bell of Ridgewood Veterans Hospital Saint John passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2009 at the age of 90. Born in Sussex, he was the son of the late Richard and Bessie (Parlee) Bell and was employed at the Saint John Drydock for over 43 years. Hazen is survived by several nieces and nephews, and by his adopted family, Art and Sandy Boudreau of Grand Bay and their children, Jay Boudreau of Red Head and Jenn Allen and her husband Paul and their three children, William, Braedon and Maxx all of Winnipeg. Hazen was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by two brothers, Irvine and Stanley; his sister, Hazel Meehan and his niece, Ellen Meehan. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Celebration Hazen's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 am followed by a tribute offered by the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 and Saint John Branches #69 and #2.
