PETTIE, AUDREY ELIZABETH (NEE CULLINAN) - Peacefully, with her loving family at her side on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, John Edmund (deceased August 4, 2006). Survived by her six children, Susan (Ernest, deceased), Mary Lou, John Mark (Maureen), Thomas (Gary), Jayne and Laurie (Gary); her 11 grandchildren; her beloved sister, Frances Lavigne of Saint John, NB; and her many nieces and nephews throughout Ontario and the Maritimes. Special thanks to all of the staff in Oak Grove, St. Joseph's Villa in Dundas for your warm and compassionate care over the years. Quick to bring out the best in everyone, Audrey will always be remembered for her devotion to her family; her kindness and generosity; and for her wonderful sense of humour and infectious smile. Private burial will take place at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to the St. Joseph's Villa Foundation, 56 Governor's Road in Dundas, Ontario.
