CASSIDY, DAVID NORMAN - David N. Cassidy of Garnett Settlement husband for 33 years of Doreen (Arsenault) Cassidy passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Saturday, October 24, 2009. Born 1946 in Saint John to the late Norman and Jean (Evans) Cassidy. David was a machinist by trade and worked for Atlantic Towing for over 35 years. Following his retirement he worked with the DOT. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Besides his wife Doreen, he is survived by his son, Scott of Willow Grove and his daughter, Cindy Taylor (Robert) of Barrie, ON; three precious granddaughters, Erin, Allison and Emma; one sister, Edith Buck (Robert) of Saint John and one sister-in-law, Karen Godwin; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. with visitations on Tuesday, October 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
