HORTON, SHEILA L. - Sheila L. Horton, 85, of ProTem Health Services and formerly of Johnson Ave., Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday October 25, 2009. Born in Red Deer, AB, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Elsie (Goodwin) Sinclair. Sheila was a retired Registered Technologist for the Provincial Laboratories. She was a member of Mountain View United Church, Charter and life member of the United Church Women, Charter member of the John Clarence Webster Chapter I.O.D.E. and Charter member of the Greater Moncton Literacy Council. Former volunteer tutor in NB School District 15 and former member of the Moncton Council of Women. She enjoyed time at the family cottage in Brule, doing crossword puzzles and scrabble, cooking and knitting but first and foremost she enjoyed spending precious time with her family and grandchildren. Sheila will be sadly missed by her husband of over 61 years, Thomas B. Horton; daughter, Alison Hannah (Mark), Saint John; sons, Neil, Calgary, AB; James (Marguerite), Toronto, ON; grandchildren, Ryan Hannah (Kara Doiron); Alexander Hannah; Rory Horton; step granddaughter, Stephanie Grant; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Sinclair. Visitation and Funeral Service times to be announced. Rev. Mary Anningson officiating. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
