SOMMERVILLE, JOHN DOUGLAS - Former resident of Saint John, died peacefully at home in Annan, Ontario November 7th with his family at his bedside. John is survived by his wife Eileen; his brother Robert; daughter Shiona and son Ryan; grandchildren Nila and Arran; and his mother-in-law Janet Parker. According to his wishes, a cremation has been organised and his death will be marked by his immediate family. The family is planning a gathering of family and friends at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. John will be remembered for his courage, enthusiasm for life, and - most especially - for his characteristic sense of humour.
