BOSENCE, RUTH - The death of Ruth Bosence occurred on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge. Born 1920 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Elias and Lucy (Daigle) Miller. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Leonard Bosence in 2002. Ruth was a night school teacher for the Community College and Vocational School. She is survived by her sons Abel Bastarache (Theresa) of Kingston, Hartley Bastarache (Kathy) of Quispamsis and John Bosence (Susan) of Saint John; daughter Lucy Harrigan of Saint John and step daughter Lena Bastarache of Saint John; brother Hartley Miller (Mildred) of Calgary; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. By request there will be no visitations or funeral service. For those who wish, donations made to the West Branch Library or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
