COOKE, ELVA WINNIFRED - born in Back Bay, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, May 7, 1915, daughter of Reuben and Goldie (Stanley)Cooke, died November 19, 2009, in Nashua, New Hampshire. Predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Miles Cooke and Blair Cooke, she is survived by her sister Mildred Shaw of Vancouver, BC, her daughter Jeannie Davis (Steven)of Nashua, NH, two grand- children and three great-grandchildren. Elva lived in Boston, MA for many years and made her career with the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where she was a valued employee. After her retirement in 1971, she became an active volunteer in the Boston Public Library and at Trinity Church, where she had been a member since 1960. A graveside service will be held in the St. George Rural Cemetery, New Brunswick, in the summer of 2010.
