UNDERHILL, CARL JAMES - The death of Carl James Underhill occurred on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing with his family by his side. Born in Miramichi on April 4, 1927. Carl was a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are loving wife of 58 years Eileen (Tucker) Underhill, children Joyce (Lomond) Burke; Sheila (Daniel) Dunham; Richard (Sylvia) Underhill; Marilynn (Dean Howe) Henderson; Paula Underhill; Michael (Tammy) Underhill; Gregory Underhill; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother Fran Urquart and a sister Judy Jardine. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents Carl was predeceased by a son Gerald Underhill. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), where a private family service was held.
