SCOTT, DEIDRE LORRAINE - At her residence, Oak Bay, NB, December 24, 2009, Deidre Lorraine Scott, daughter of the late Ronald Garfield and Alice Marie (Lawson) Scott. Deidre was a Special Olympian, worker at the Volunteer Centre, St. Stephen, avid bowler and volunteer at the Food Bank in St. Stephen. Survived by three brothers, Dennis Scott (Debbie), St. Stephen, NB, Dexter Scott (Joyce) Alberta, Dorian Scott (Wanda), Oak Bay, NB; one sister, Dawna Stewart (Danny), Oak Bay, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Gary and Kaye Weeks of Oak Bay NB. Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 2 pm. Interment at Oak Bay Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the St. Croix Vocational Centre or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
