ANNA SLOAT

SLOAT, ANNA - Anna Sloat of Hartland, formerly of Centreville, passed away on December 24, 2009 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland. She was born October 28, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Howard and Joycie (Gee) Antworth. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Sloat, brothers, Rolston and Gilbert Antworth and a sister, Mildred Brown. She is survived by her children, Marvin (Greta) Sloat of Lincoln, NB, Ivan (Susie) Sloat of Lenoir, North Carolina, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; brothers, Earle, Philip (Glenna), Kenneth (Jean), Harold (Gaye), Malcolm (Carmen); sisters, Nellie (Milford) Carmichael, Margaret Longstaff, Alberta (Fred) Dunkman, Elaine Love, sister in law, Carolyn Antworth, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Wednesday Dec. 30th from 2 4 and 7 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 31st at 1:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland. The interment will be in the Centreville Baptist Cemetery at a later date. www.brittonfh.ca
