JUSTASON, AVERIL LORENA - Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on January 2, 2010, Mrs. Averil Lorena (Wright) Justason, wife of the late Edwin W. Justason of Pennfield, NB. Born at Beaver Harbour, NB on May 26, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Fenwick and Lulu (Scott) Wright. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by three daughters; Geraldine (James) Rogers of Saint John, NB, Marsha (Daniel) Duncan of Oakville, ON and Denise (Wayne) Stewart of Pennfield, seven grandchildren; Darren Rogers, Jaime (John) Wilson, Greg Simms, Ryan (Jo Ann) Simms, Dustin Stewart, Aaron Stewart and Kyle Stewart, one brother, Conrad (Leslie) Wright of Pocologan, NB, three sisters; Maxine Allaby of Saint John, Norma Boyd and Brenda Barrett both of British Columbia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers; Wallace, Phillip, Carroll and Morton and by sisters; Gertrude and Arletta. Prior to her retirement, Averil worked at the Fundy Hospital at Blacks Harbour, NB as an Admitting Clerk. She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxilliary Branch # 39 and the Brunswick Curling Club both at Blacks Harbour. She was a avid golfer, curler and loved painting and doing crafts. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where a private family service will be held at a later date with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating. The interment will take place at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the Spring. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 9 pm.
