LECKEY, LESLIE BRANSCOMBE - At the Mill Cove Nursing Home, on Monday, January 11th, 2010 Leslie Branscombe Leckey of Waterborough passed away at the age of 93 years. Leslie is survived by his daughters Doreen (Archie) Smith of Jemseg, Lois (Bob) McGibbon of Waterborough, and his son Leonard Leckey of Waterborough. Also survived by his grandchildren, John Smith, Lisa and Jason McGibbon, Dustin and Danielle Leckey, Adam Cameron and Charlene McIntyre, great-grandchildren Katelyn and Angela Smith, AJ, Tabitha and Timothy Cameron as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Clarence & Pearl (Branscombe) Leckey, wife Ida (Fairweather) Leckey, sister Valetta McGarity and granddaughter Marie Smith. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Thursday when funeral services will be held from the Waterborough Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Aubrey Trail & Rev. Steven Ferris officiating. Interment in the Young's Cove United Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday. Following the graveside service a reception will be held at the Waterborough Womens Institute Hall. In lieu of flowers donations to the Waterborough Baptist Church, Young's Cove United Church Cemetery, Mill Cove Nursing Home or the charity of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
