WHELTON, M. ELAINE SUSAN - 1953-2010 - The death of Marie "Elaine" Susan Whelton of Florenceville occurred at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Born on September 5, 1953 she was the daughter of Marie (Robichaud) Beaulieu- Boychyn and the late Leo Beaulieu. Elaine was a devoted wife and mother who loved quilting with the ladies at St. Leo's. She also loved gardening, tending to her vegetables and flowers with love and care. Her family, her home and her crafts were the focal points of her life. Always generous with her time and skills, she was a pleasure to those who knew and loved her. Elaine is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael; one son, Dean; mother, Marie Beaulieu-Boychyn; siblings, Claire Boychyn (Robert), Gerard Beaulieu (Geri) and Anne-Marie Kraus (Peter); special friends, Judy Butler, Susan Colpitts, Janice VanWart, Barb MacKinnon, and Sue Buis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 am from St. Leo's Catholic Church, Florenceville. Rev. David Fulton as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Simon and St. Jude Catholic Cemetery, Grande Anse at a later date.
