ALICE MARIE THERESE DICENTES

DICENTES, ALICE MARIE THERESE - Peacefully at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on February 7, 2010, Alice Marie Therese (Ouellette) Dicentes of Blacks Harbour. Born at St. Charles, NB on April 1, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Fidele and Catherine (Daigle) Ouellette. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by two daughters; Yvette (Larry) Scott of Blacks Harbour, Jeannette Richard of Saint John, NB, four grandchildren; Bambi (Jayson) Leavitt and Jamie Scott (Nicole Blanchard) both of Edmonton, AB, Clayton (Trish) Richard of Medicine Hat, AB and Cindy O'Neill (Andrew Smith) of Saint John, great grandchildren; Samantha, Katie and Carter Richard all of Medicine Hat, Tanner Leavitt and Ethan Lloyd both of Edmonton, AB, two sisters; Suzanne Babineau of Richibucto, NB and Rosalie (Roger) Chase of Pennfield NB, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her first husband, Vincent Arseneault, she was predeceased by six brothers; Emilien, Gerard, Joseph, Albert, Joachin and Jean-Paul, and by five sisters; Marie Anne, Rev. Sister Angele, Lydia, Rosalie, and Suzanne in infancy. Prior to her retirement, Alice worked for over 30 years for Farber's Leather Factory in Massachusetts. She was an avid bowler who loved playing Bingo. She attended Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Blacks Harbour, NB. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Blacks Harbour on Wednesday at 11 am. The interment will take place at the parish cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. (www.stgeorgefh.ca)
