Doris Morrell The death of Doris Morrell, 85, of Cornhill St., Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 after a brief illness. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Ora and Mamie (Stultz) MacKenzie. Doris was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church on the Pine Glen Road , enjoyed painting and was a former member of the Moncton Art Society. Doris is survived by her daughters; Sylvia Reade(George), Betty Lane (George), Sandra McCormick, all of Riverview , and Wendy Darlow and Wanda Wickens, both of London, Ontario; sister Jean Sim(Jim) of Campbell, California, Torry Hawthorne (Fred) of Riverview and Joan Robichaud of Moncton; brothers Stuart Mackenzie (Peggy) of Riverview and Jackie Mackenzie (Dorthy) of Mechanic Lake, NB; a sister- in-law Dorthy MacKenzie of Wolfville, NS; 17 grandchildren; several great grand children; six great great grand children and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son Gary; brothers Donald and Harold; and a grand son Robbie-Todd By request there will be no visitation prior to the funeral services to be held on Friday December 21, 2001 at 2:00pm in the Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Tony Blair officiating. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the family Reception Room of the funeral home following the service. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Garden of the good Shepherd. Donations in Doris' memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
