MURPHY, Gerald F. (Gerry) — Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, February 15, aged 85. Former employee of the provincial Department of Health. Lifetime member of the TA&B Society. Predeceased by his wife Susan, and brothers William and Harry. Leaving to mourn daughters Barbara (Tony) and Patricia. Son, John. Grandchildren Paul and Mark Hayward and Joshua and Neil Molloy. Also leaving to mourn numerous friends and relatives. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, February 16, and Tuesday February 17. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace church, Torbay Road. Cremation to follow. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in Gerry’s memory to the St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation.
