The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 of Janice Kelly of Suffolk, age 53 years. Beloved wife of Leo Butler and dear mother of Kimberly (Billy) Trainor, Bethany (Casey) Jones and Jennifer Kelly (Joey Mullins). Loving Nana to Haylee, Ava, Will, Drew, Jack, Tyler and Cohen. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Penny Durant; brother, Jack (Glenda) Durant; and nieces and nephews, Chris, Melissa, Janna, Laurel, Jillian, Jessica and Johnathon. Also sadly missed by her four-legged friends, Abbey, Buddy and Rocky. She was predeceased by her mother, Joyce Durant and aunt, Lois Hennessey. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 on Friday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre.
