Bill Wallace of Moose Jaw passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009 in the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. In earlier years Bill was a farm worker, later working for the Claybank Brick Factory. From 1942 to 1946 he was an Aircrew Mechanic in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He began work with CP Railway in 1947 retiring as a Conductor in 1979. Bill was a life time member of the ANAVETS. Predeceased by his wife, Ella (McCormack), Bill is survived by his children: Terrence (Carol) Wallace and Gregory (Barb) Wallace; grandchildren: Melissa, Tamara, Connie, Curtis and Jamie; great-grandchildren: Kirsten, Kyra, Dayn and Aiden. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the W. J. J ones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Reverend Dave Moore will officiate. Memorialization will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association, #301 – 2550 – 12th Ave., Regina, S4P 3X1. In living memory of Bill, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
