FLANNIGAN, Edward (Ned) –Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Home, Clarke’s Beach on Monday, February 16, 2009, Edward (Ned) Flannigan, aged 76 years of Avondale. Leaving to mourn his wife of 51 years Mary (nee Anthony), his four sons: Ed, Colliers, Tyrone, Toronto, Darrin, Roger (Patsy), all of Avondale; his five precious grandchildren; three sisters: Winnie Mason, Annie Hawco and Alice Flannigan; four brothers: Tom, Jerry, George and Gus (Geraldine) and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009 with Mass of Christian Burial from Assumption Church, Avondale.
