Our beloved "Auntie Marj" passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Moose Jaw Union Hospital following a brief illness. She was 89 years old. Marjorie has lived almost her entire life in Saskatchewan and had resided at the Chateau St. Michael for the past 6 1/2 years. Marj was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Henry in 1987 and her two sisters, Gladys and Irene. Marjorie had a very entrepreneurial spirit and enjoyed various banking and sales positions. She loved entertaining her friends at her lake cottage. Left to mourn her passing are her nieces and nephews, Dan & Judy Johnstone, Surrey, BC., M. Ruth McRae, Abbotsford, BC, Ruby & Milford Crocker, Fort Collins, CO, Jim & Georgia Johnstone, Vernon, BC and Bud & Dorothy Johnstone, Calgary, AB. Memorial Service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Chateau St. Michael Chapel, 525 - 7th Ave. S.E., Moose Jaw, SK.
