Edna Drisdelle 1915-2003 SHEDIAC, NB - Edna Drisdelle, 87, of Résidence Beau Séjour, Shediac and formerly of Haute-Aboujagane passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at the residence. Born June 7, 1915 in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Mélas Bourgeois and the late Justine Landry. She was a member of les Dames de Saint-Anne, la Légion deMarie and the Golden Age Club in Haute-Aboujagane. She is survived by two daughters, Elva Boudreau (Mélas) of Haute-Aboujagane, Oliva Prud'Homme (Jean-Guy) of Saint-Timothée, QC.; three sons, Rev. Normand Drisdelle, Moderator of the following parishes: Saint-Louis-deKent, Saint-Ignace, Baie Sainte-Anne and Pointe-Sapin, Euclide (Angela) of Shediac, Ola (Florence) of HauteAboujagane; two sisters, Rita LeBlanc (late Arcade), Louisa Arsenault (late Aquila) of Haute-Aboujagane; five brothers, Mélas Bourgeois (Lorraine) of Middle Sackville, Ola Boudreau (Dora), Adrice Boudreau (late Maria), Ovide Boudreau (Aline), and Bernard Boudreau (Zina) all of Haute-Aboujagane; eleven grand-children and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Sal in 1986. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of departure at 10:40 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2003 at Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church in Haute-Aboujagane. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. In her memory, a Mass offering or a donation to the Cardiac Unit of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital (8624285) would be appreciated by the family.
