Howard Carroll MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Howard Carroll, 74, of Frost Street, Miramichi, NB passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, March 3, 2003. Born in Chatham, NB he was the son of the late Michael Carroll and Mary Maloney. He was a Stationary Engineer for 31 years at Hotel Dieu Hospital and a member of St Michael's Basilica, Miramichi. He was a devoted husband to Marie (Daley) Carroll; and loving father for 52 years to daughters, Mrs. Kathy Connell (Michael) of Ajax, ON, Mrs. Debbie McDonald (Anerd) of Blackriver, Mrs. Marilyn Harris (Kevin), Rothsay, NB, Peggy, Marilee, Joan and Stella, all of Miramichi; sons, Brian (Sandra), Jack (Donna), Howard (Anne), Richard, Robert, all of the Miramichi; one brother, Blair (Thelma) of Miramichi; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by infant son, Michael; brothers, Dennis, Joseph and Edward. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, NB on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 11:00 am. Interment to take place in St Michael's Cemetery.
