Florence P. Sutherland STEEVES SETTLEMENT, NB - Florence Pearl Sutherland, 85, of Steeves Settlement passed away Friday, March 7, 2003 at The Moncton Hospital. Born at Halcomb, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Jessie (Holmes) MacAllister. A devoted wife and mother, she faithfully served beside her late husband Rev. Wilbur Sutherland at their pastorates throughout the Maritimes. In later years she was a member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church in Moncton. She will be sadly missed by her children Sandra Jackson (Don) of B.C., Sheldon (Suzanne) and Wendy Killam (Edward) of Steeves Settlement, Kathleen Sample (Gordon) of Ont.; sisters Clara Johnstone of Sunny Corner, Kathleen Jardine of Ont.; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Rev. Wilbur Sutherland; brothers, Wilfred, Orville, Edward and William MacAllister; sisters, Mary Mullin and Vera Crocker. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (3724800) with visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held Monday, March 10 at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sterling Penney and Rev. Clair Mullen officiating. Interment at the Steeves Settlement Cemetery at a later date.
