Raymond Joseph Cormier
Raymond Joseph Cormier WALTHAM, MA - Raymond Joseph Cormier, 82, of Waltham, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at the Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Born in Cocagne, the son of the late Patrick and Locade (Cormier) Cormier, he has been a Waltham resident for over 50 years, while summering in Canada and wintering in Florida. He was retired from the Sears and Roebucks Co. where he had been employed as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Mr. Cormier is survived by his wife, Viola M. (Dionne) Cormier; his children, Roger D. Cormier of Sudbury and Donald J. Cormier and his wife, Cheryl (Gauthier) Cormier of Billerica; his grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler and Dylan Cormier; his sisters, Aurelie Bourgeois of Grand-Digue, Florine Bourque of Dieppe, Helene MacKay of ONT and Corinne Leger of Val Caron, ONT; brothers, Robert Cormier of Cocagne, and Emerie Cormier of St. Antoine; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Lucille Harthore, Elvena LeBlanc, Rose Babineau, Emeline Gallant and Edgar Cormier. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 10:00 am from the Brasco and Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, with a Mass of Christian Burial at the Saint Joseph's Church, Waltham, at 11:00 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Parking attendants on duty. Interment will follow at the Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
