Louis W. Savary 1942 - 2003 HILLSBOROUGH, NB - Louis W. Savary, 60, of Hillsborough passed away at his home with his family by his side on Monday, March 10, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Yarmouth, NS on December 18, 1942, the son of Louis R. and Muriel (Cook) Savary of Moncton. Louis was retired from the C.N. He belonged to the IOF Foresters and the C.N. Pensioners. Louis was an avid golfer and a member of the Burro Hills Golf Club, Hillsborough where he was the junior co-ordinator until his illness. He loved the time spent with the kids out on the golf course. He was a very special family man and his grandsons meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by his parents and his loving wife, Glenda(Simpson) Savary; his two daughters, Louella Woodworth (Bret) of Hillsborough, Jennifer Savary (Phillipe Porier) of Barachois; his beloved grandsons, Nick, Kenton, Konnor, Jackson and Jacob; two sisters, Gwen McKnight (Jack) of Saint John, Lorraine Savary of Moncton; brother, Philip Savary (Janet) of Riverview. He will also be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm. The Funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 4pm with Rev. Jack Allen Officiating. Internment will be held in the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends following the service at the funeral home for further sharing of memories and refreshments. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Konnor's Medical Trust Fund, or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
