Edward J. Maillet 1914 - 2003 ST. ANTHONY, NB - Edward J. Maillet, of St. Anthony Nursing Home, St. Anthony and formerly of St. Paul, passed away at his residence on Friday, March 14, 2003 at the age of 88 years. Born in St. Paul De Kent, NB on April 11, 1914 . He was the son of the late Donat and Lydia (Henry) Maillet. He was a retired maintenance worker having worked in Hartford, Conn. In earlier years he attended Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. Edward will be sadly missed by his wife, Rita (Pellerin) Maillet; daughters, Ella and her husband Phillippe Lanteigne of Paquetville, Rhea and her husband Kenneth Hewton of Pickering, ON, Noella and her husband Francis Williams of Adamsville, Linda and her husband Donald Williams of St. Marie de Kent, and Pauline and her husband Michael Arsenault of Toronto, ON; son, Bernard (Rejeanne) Maillet of St. Norbert; sisters, Emelda and her husband Tim William of Fredericton, and Emilia Boudreau of Memramcook; brother, Eric Maillet of Moncton; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; eleven step children. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Alida, Jeanne, Marie, Evelyn, and Irene; brothers, Alban, Harvey, and Gerard (c.s.c.); infant son, Joseph; three wives; and two step children. Resting at The St. Paul Roman Catholic Church on Sunday, March 16, 2003 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 17, 2003 at 11:00am at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with Father Alphonse Richard officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in the spring.
