Elta Mae LeBlanc 1928-2003 Mrs. Elta Mae LeBlanc, 74, wife of Joe LeBlanc who resided on Seagull Street, Moncton passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at The Moncton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, September 8, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Albert Goodall and the late Flora Ryder. She retired 10 years ago after working in the food industry for 15 years at K Mart and Zeller's. She was known to her family and friends for her witty sense of humour and smile. She also loved to cook and tend to her flowers. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years, Joe LeBlanc; a daughter, Brenda Jensen (Jens) and a son, Donnie (Kathy) all of Moncton; a sister, Eleanor Duguay of Shediac; four grandchildren, Katie, Matthew, Michael, Andrew as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Donald, Douglas, Basil Goodall and a sister, Kathleen Dryden. Visitation will take place at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:30a.m. until time of departure at 11:15a.m. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:30a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe in the spring. In Elta's memory, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit or the Oncology Dept. of The Moncton Hospital.
