Caroline Elizabeth Day 1906 - 2003 The death of Caroline Elizabeth Day, widow of Robert, of Beechwood Avenue occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Monday March 24, 2003. Born in Coates Mills on April 27, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jessie (Glendenning) Bowser. Caroline moved to the United States at a young age where she remained until she retired. On January 13, 1986 she and Robert Day were married in Pinellas FLA. They returned to Canada in the early 1990's and while living in Harrisville she attended the Harrisville Protestant Church and after moving to Beechwood Avenue she attended Sunny Brae United Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister in law, Ruby Bowser; her nieces, Phyllis, Shirley and Eleanor all of the Moncton area. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert; four sisters, Ethel Budd, Mabel Budd, Bessie Glendenning and Blanche Fisher; also two brothers, Thomas and William; and one nephew. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton with visiting hours on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 11 A.M. followed by a reception in the Family Reception Room of the Funeral Home.
