Mary Carolyn Avard 1916-2003 Mary Carolyn Avard, wife of the late Charles Walter Avard of Moncton, passed away on Monday, March 24th, 2003, at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Halifax on May 11, 1916, she was the daughter of the late A. S. Tab and Helen (Taylor) Donald. She was a member of St. John's United Church and active in the Moncton Gyrettes. She is survived by her sons, Peter (Peggy) of Moncton, Bill (Sylvia) of Toronto; brothers, Hugh Donald (Joan) of Riverview, Bill Donald (Frances) of Toronto; three grandchildren, Sonia, Laura, and Michael; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, June Bowser and Nancy Titus. At her request there will not be any visiting hours prior to the funeral service to be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception for Carolyn's friends and family will follow in the family reception room of the funeral home. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
